During ABS-CBN stockholder’s meeting last Thursday, Gabby Lopez talked about the controversy involving the network’s biggest talent, Wowowee host, Willie Revillame.
Mr. Lopez said that there are ongoing discussions with Mr. Revillame and they prefer to keep the discussions private. They will take into consideration the wide variety of factors involved in dealing with stars like Willie. Stars come and go, but the institution stays. He further says that he (Willie) is not the first or the last star that will reflect this kind of behaviour. It goes with the territory.
Mr. Gabby Lopez talked about the controversy when one of the stockholders asked the management about Revillame. The stockholder added that if it was up to him, he would kick Willie Revillame out.
