Mariel leaves the country perhaps to get away from the intrigues hounding her, but she is, as she admitted off the air, with Robin Padilla in India. Mariel Rodriguez is rumored to be pregnant but manager, Boy Abunda insists she is not. Hmmmm, let us just wait and see.
There were also reports before that Robin and Mariel are already living-in. Another controversy is that Robin Padilla’s ex-wife Liezl said that Rodriguez is the reason why Robin is not spending time with their children.
Boy said that he understands Mariel taking an abrupt leave from showbiz because she is in love. Robin is in India right now, in observance of Ramadan. Now that Mariel is with him, will he still be able to practice what his religion teaches , abstaining from everything? :D Sorry, my bad.
The Robin – Mariel love affair is perhaps one of the showbiz affairs that happened so quickly. It seems that in just a blink of an eye, Robin and Mariel are already playing sweet music to each other.
May 2010 when Robin joined Wowowee as replacement of Willie Revillame. In the two weeks that he was in the show, there ignited their love affair. It continued even after his stint in Wowowee and even his daughter, Quennie mentioned in her interview that since her father met Mariel, Robin has not returned home yet.
Robin is known to be a lady’s man. He knows how to please women and love women. Imagine the ladies he had been linked to: Liezl Sicangco, Jobelle Salvador, Leah Orosa, Sharon Cuneta, Dolly Ann Carvajal, Vina Morales, Ruffa Gutierrez, Kris Aquino, Judy Ann Santos and now, Mariel Rodriguez.
That could be the problem - he loves many women. He has four kids with Liezl Sycangco and a daughter with Lea Orosa. Now that he is a Muslim which allows him to marry more than one woman, will Mariel be able to accept that if it happens?

Relationships that move too quickly and did not even allow it to grow normally ends too quickly as well. Relationships that are built to last have to experience trials and hardships. If you will be able to endure them, then your relationship is for the long haul.

HI Vera, thanks for your comment. I was kind of intrigued with their love affair. The whole love affair is being flaunted and naturally, people will talk about it. I remember a friend said that if they cant be decent, at least be discreet.
I just wish they don’t make such a big deal out of it. Okay, so she goes on leave to follow Robin. If it’s just a vacation, why do they have to come out and say that she’s going on an indefinite leave? That’s just inviting a lot of speculation.
