Six weeks since Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their shock split, Marc Anthony has finally spoken.
Anthony has given his first interview since the separation, which will air in full tomorrow on U.S. television and he has denied being unfaithful while married to American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce July 15, bringing their seven-year marriage to a halt. Anthony and Lopez, also 42, have been married for seven years.
“This is not a funeral. This is not a burial,” the single star said. “This is just two people who came together and just realized. . . I’m saying that it wasn’t sustainable the way it was, and that’s that.”
Last week the drama in their marriage breakdown took a new twist when Marc became embroiled in claims he had had a fling with Jada Pinkett Smith while filming American drama Hawthorne earlier this year.
