Just Perfect

I have been watching Lovers in Paris (pinoy version) right from day one. What can I do? I greatly admire KC Concepcion. Her beauty, intelligence. LIP has no boring scene and it is fast paced. The musical scoring was so amazing. I specially liked that scene where Maricar Reyes stared at her wedding ring and the song “He’s out of my Life” was played, just right timing (episode 20). Everybody was sooooo good, acting wise. Zanjoe Marudo is a revelation. The eyes speak for itself.

October 23, 2009 episode was so breathtaking. The scene when KC asked Piolo what he got from Paris, and Piolo answered IKAW was magical.  Haaaayyyyy.   The long pause before he answered was perfect. This is one scene which I considered PERFECT, JUST PERFECT.

KC with WFP Officials

The UN – WFP has assured the  Philippines that the whole world will help the country in its recovery from the disaster brought about by typhoons “Ondoy” and “Pepeng.”  The United Nations will be here to  help  in the recovery and rebuilding  and to make sure that the victims have the basic necessities it need.  United Nations executive director Josette Sheeran is here in the country to see the depth of the devastation brought about by typhoons.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was there to inspect the donation of the UN-WFP. Together WFP Executive Director, Josette Sheeran is UN-WFP National Ambassador against hunger, KC Concepcion. They distributed relief goods to all the victims of the two typhons in Candaba, Pampanga.

KC spent 3 days in Singapore as UN WFP representative. Formula 1 joins UN WFP in its theme to fight global hunger. She was set to fly back to Manila yesterday but was moved to Sunday (today) because of the weather.

KC makes sense

If there is one female celebrity who I love listening to being interviewed next to Sharon Cuneta, it is no other than her daughter, KC Concepcion. Last night was the first part of her interview on SNN. She became totally honest of her life in school, her first love, a Korean-American. Now, she talked about her mom Sharon Cuneta. How she learned that her mom was the Megastar. It was so nice to see how proud she is of her mother. She also bared that she learned that her mom and papa were separated only when she saw on TV that her dad, Gabby Concepcion got married to Jenny Syquia.
She may have grown up around showbiz people, but the way she answers the questions, you can see that she was totally honest, no showbiz answers. She is one interviewee who really makes sense. A very hardworking girl, never banks on her being the daughter of the Megastar. What is even worth emulating is the way she treats her fellow actors and actresses.
Get to see the third part of the interview tomorrow on SNN at 10:30 PM, Manila Time.
BTW, today is the same date her parents, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion got married at the Manila Catherdral.
