Lovers in Paris Final Episode

Tomorrow, Friday will be Lovers in Paris’ final episode. How fast time flies? It has been 10 weeks since LIP started last September 28.
The Philippine version decided to tweak the ending from the original since it was reported that a lot of viewers were disappointed with the ending of the original version. I myself could not wait how the Philippine version is going to end.
My personal assessment of the adaptation? It was so far the best that I have seen. The whole case did spectacular performances. Cinematography is something that you only see in the movies. And the music, what can I say? It has brought back my love for old music, like Moonriver. It indeed made me believe in falling in love again. smile

Take a peek of this picture, one of the most awaited scenes in the teleserye.

Lovers in Paris Pinoy Version stays on its original timeslot

Last week, it was aired that Lovers in Paris will switch time slot with Dahil May Isang Ikaw and it will start this Monday, 16 November 2009. I was watching the news last night when I saw that LIP remains at its original timeslot.
Well , all I could say is that it was a good management decision. Viewers of the said teleserye have become used to its 8:30 PM timeslot. Like myself and everyone else,  I am happy that my viewing habits will stay the same.

Just Perfect

I have been watching Lovers in Paris (pinoy version) right from day one. What can I do? I greatly admire KC Concepcion. Her beauty, intelligence. LIP has no boring scene and it is fast paced. The musical scoring was so amazing. I specially liked that scene where Maricar Reyes stared at her wedding ring and the song “He’s out of my Life” was played, just right timing (episode 20). Everybody was sooooo good, acting wise. Zanjoe Marudo is a revelation. The eyes speak for itself.

October 23, 2009 episode was so breathtaking. The scene when KC asked Piolo what he got from Paris, and Piolo answered IKAW was magical.  Haaaayyyyy.   The long pause before he answered was perfect. This is one scene which I considered PERFECT, JUST PERFECT.

Assunta de Rossi’s role in Lovers in Paris suits her

It was a good idea the Director FM Reyes casted Assunta de Rossi in Lovers in Paris. She is doing a great job as KC’s former classmate, Eunice.  She is a revelation here, proving the she can do comedy without becoming OA.  One scene that made me laugh was when she spelled the word stress as S-T-R-E-S. And when her friend corrected her, she added the other S to the first one, making it SSTRES.  Watch her display her more  antics  in the upcoming episodes of  Lovers in Paris.

KC and Piolo

Ricky Lo is known to be a credible journalist. Read in the forum of pinoyexchange.com about the current status of the so-called “friendship” of Piolo and KC. I was so curious because I am fan of KC.
Read it for yourself. As the saying goes: “bahala na kayong humusga.” …. See it for yourself.

To avoid tongues from wagging, the concerned mom of a pretty, young actress had advised her against going to the pad of a popular actor who is actually just her friend and not her boyfriend as rumored. “Hindi sila talo,” said somebody who know them well. Instead, the mom told the guy to do his and the daughter’s “bonding” at their home where, as “bonus,” she cooks mouth-watering goodies for them. As they say, the best way to a man’s heart…
